All referees are members of FAMOA, the direct link between The Football Association and all connected with refereeing.
FAMOA exists to support, inform and develop match officials at every stage in their careers, with local activities being promoted and co-ordinated by the FA Regional Referees Managers.
The AFA encourages all of its referees to become active members of FAMOA, as it offers advice on progression, good practice, rewards in refereeing, in service training. Referees receive regular newsletters from FAMOA, and an annual journal.
