  • Safeguarding Children and Young People in Football - Policies and Procedures: The FA continues to be committed to ensuring all necessary steps are taken to protect from harm those children and young people who participate in football at all levels. This policy together with the Child Protection and Best Practice Guidelines and
    educational programme sets out The FA’s position, role and responsibilities, and clarifies what is expected of other organisations and individuals involved in football.

  • Choosing a Club for your Child: With so many clubs out there it’s hard to know which is the best club for your child. This guidance note has been prepared to assist you in this process.
  • Photography Guidelines: There has been much debate about whether someone can take pictures at football matches. There is a lot of misinformation about this subject and therefore The FA produced this guidance to correct this.
  • Stay Safe, Have Fun: This guidance is for the players/young referees, providing information on what they can expect from the coaches/referee instructors.
  • Travel, Trips and Tournaments:  Advice on how to best manage travel to away matches and trips away with the team.
  • Safe Away Cards:  Template cards to be used in conjunction with the above Travel, Trips and Tournament guidance.
  • Club Annual Membership and Consent Form:  Template for clubs to use at the start of every season to gather important information about their members (players).
