Affiliation

    •
To play football in an affiliated League or Cup competition each club must affiliate annually to a County Football Association such as the Amateur FA.

Club Affiliations Season 2016-17

This process will be completed via Whole Game System Portal (https://wholegame.thefa.com/Account/Login?ReturnUrl=%2f).

Clubs affiliation forms will be prepopulated in WGS and clubs will be able to login and edit details that have changed from the season before. You will also be able to begin editing forms and save them to come back to if you are a particularly large club.

You will need to know your FAN and password in order to log in. If you cannot remember your FA Number (FAN) please click here. If you cannot remember your password please click here.

All Club Secretaries should have received an email from The AFA detailing what is required of them for next season. If you have not received an email from us or require any assistance please contact mike.grimshaw@amateur-fa.com

If you are a new club please contact us on 020 8733 2613, option 1 or email mike.grimshaw@amateur-fa.com with the following details:

• Club Name
• Name/DOB/Address/Tel/Email of Treasurer/Secretary/Chairman (these can be the same person)

We will then add you to the system and provide you with your login details for WGS. From here you will be able to start the process to affiliate with us.

County Cups
Please ensure that your team enters the correct County Cup competition when affiliating in the 2016-17 season. You can find guidance on which competition your team should enter in the cup rules contained in the AFA handbook here.

Affiliation needs to be completed by the end of June 2016. This will help us to set up the County Cup competitions.

Please be advised that any club that does not complete their affiliation before Thursday 30th June will also be levied with a £50 late affiliation fee.

Entry deadlines for Cups are as follows:

Adult Cups – End June
Youth Cups – End July
