Women's Football: On the Rise

Celebrate women’s football and the hurdles that have been overcome along the way.

On Tuesday 14 November 2017 (6.30pm-8.30pm), Goldsmiths University Women’s Football Team will host an event at its Professor Stuart Hall Building that celebrates women’s football and the hurdles that have been overcome along the way.

Join Goldsmith’s University for an evening of celebration and reflection as they discuss the exciting direction women’s football has taken, as well as the boundaries overcome along the way. 

Panellists include: 

Former England International & current England Women’s Player and Coach Developer, Marieanne Spacey
Former USWNT & Arsenal Women's Football Club star, Heather O’Reilly
International sports journalist and presenter, Mimi Fawaz
Football agent, mentor and founder of YANA project, Jenni Steele

Many inspirational female figures who have paved the way in a male-dominated environment will be celebrated and their their stories will be heard. Prepare to feel empowered, impassioned and proud of the journey we are all on together.
