Amateur FA Referee appointed England Fixture- Jamie De Souza

It is with great pleasure to announce that Jamie De Souza (seen on the far right), an Amateur FA Referee has been appointed to referee the England U15’s V Belgium U15’s.

Jamie has worked incredibly hard and has been selected to represent us as the Central Region for his commitment to the programme and on/off field progress and has been offered the appointment though the FA CORE Programme.

Jamie has said: “I feel really privileged and grateful to have the opportunity to referee a fixture of this kind. Not many referees in the country can say they have refereed the England national side at any given level, so to be given this opportunity is absolutely phenomenal. I am looking forward to working with some of my fellow FA CORE referees and I cannot wait for this unreal experience to occur”

We are incredibly proud of Jamie and this prestigious appointment and would like to wish him the best of luck in the game.
