Bob Leeds Retirement

Bob Leeds Retirement

Bob joined the Amateur FA as an employee in 2003 as Football Development Administrator working with John Bayer, before working his way up to lead the Football Development team and is leaving after 16 years of hard work and commitment to grassroots football. Bob will continue as a Life-Vice-President so you will continue to see him around.

" First of all I would like to thank Bob for the support he has provided me since I joined as CEO just over a year ago. Bob's knowledge and contacts within the game have proved invaluable.I met Bob when I worked as Football Development Officer at Middlesex, we attended the same Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football course on a scruffy pitch in North Harrow (I think)." - Jason Kilby- AFA CEO

Bob has given sterling service to the AFA over many years and made an outstanding contribution to our representative teams. His football knowledge is extensive and his coaching has improved many players over this time.

As a surprise for Bob who is a big labour and Arsenal supporter, the office arrange for him to meet Jeremy Corbyn, who also sent this message.
