Albert Adomah Aston Villa

Old Meadonians to Aston Villa

Albert Adomah

Former Old Meadonians top goal scorer Albert Adomah has made his way to the Premier league!

Adomah currently plays for Aston Villa as their right winger, who as of yesterday are now in the Premier League after beating Derby 2-1 in the Play-offs.

He played for Old Meadonians as a teenager in the Amateur Football Combination beginning in their fourth team before achieving the heady heights of the firsts. He helped the side go through the 2005/6 season unbeaten in open play. After playing for Meadonians, Adomah began his career playing semi-professional football with Isthmian League Premier Division club Harrow Borough, while studying Level 2 Decorative Finishing and Industrial Painting at the College of North West London.

He has also played for Ghana, being part of their squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and 2014 Fifa World Cup.

It is great to see success from Amateur Football and we wish him the best of luck for the 2019/20 season!
