NSPCC Parents in Sport Week

Important information on safeguarding for children in football

In support of the NSPCC, Child Protection in Sport Unit - Parents in Sport Week (5-11 October 2020) we want to ensure every parent/carer with a child and young person involved in affiliated football is clear about football’s safeguarding requirements.

Please click the video link below to learn more about what you can do to help keep your child safe and what you can expect from a club to ensure children’s and young people's safety.

Let's talk about keeping children safe in football

Every parent/carer should ask questions to understand the steps club’s take to keep children and young people safe – if you haven’t already, then please play your part.

If you have any questions about safeguarding, please contact the Amateur FA Designated Safeguarding Officer, Dy Sappleton on safeguarding@amateur-fa.com
