Amateur FA Referees Raise Money for Mind

Amateur FA referees raise £1,410 for Mind

During lockdown 2.0, seven Amateur FA referees took on the challenge of running a total combination of 10,000km and raising money for Mind whilst doing so.

Covid-19 and the resulting lockdowns has been a difficult time for many, and it is important to raise awareness of mental health and the daily struggles people have been facing.

Mind charity provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing mental health. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

An impressive £1,410 has been raised so far, surpassing the initial goal of £500.

Congratulations to the referees who ran and were part of such a great fundraising effort. They are; Daryl Ann, Robert Poole, Dwayne Uylett, Liam Giles, Daniel Smith, Deryll David & Elliott Mayer.

There is still time to donate and help those who need it.
