Fusion for Business

New Energy Partnership to Strengthen Football Opportunities

Amateur Football Alliance has today signed an exclusive partnership agreement with energy solutions specialist Fusion for Business.

Led by a team of experts with a wealth of experience in business consultancy and utility procurement, Fusion for Business are committed to helping businesses and local football clubs save on today’s, tomorrow’s and even yesterday’s energy costs.

As a result of the partnership, football clubs within the Amateur Football Alliance will be able to benefit from significant savings across their utility bills, as well as receiving advice on ways to become more energy efficient through initiatives such as improved LED solutions for pitch lighting.

What’s more, through FFB’s unique Community Ambassador Programme, clubs will be provided with the tools they need to develop new, sustainable income streams to combat the financial shortfalls in the wake of COVID-19 and secure the required funding to boost the overall longevity of their club.

Samantha Brown, Football Development Officer comments:

“Fusion for Business’s support of football within the community comes at the perfect time with fixtures now back up and running as clubs actively seek to recover from the pandemic’s devastating impact on their finances and club engagement.

“After a heavy due diligence process, FFB impressed us with their FCA accreditation and backing from the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) so bringing FFB on board to support our clubs with their energy needs was a no brainer.

FFB share our vision for creating memories through football and providing a level playing field for all to thrive. We are excited to see where this partnership will take us.”

Head of Community Ambassadors Graham Robson added:

“We understand the pivotal role football plays within in the community, so partnering with Amateur Football Alliance was a really exciting opportunity for us. As a business, we are here to change perceptions of the energy market, championing an honest and innovative approach to energy management. All cost savings that we identify for football clubs are backed by an insurance guarantee to ensure that 100% of the forecasted cost savings are achieved. However, for us, this partnership is about more than just helping clubs save money. Our priority is to bring communities together by creating new opportunities and long-lasting benefits that delivers a more sustainable future for all.”
