Partnership with Refsix Announced

The Amateur FA are pleased to announce we have entered into a partnership with REFSIX, the app for referees.

REFSIX will be helping our referees track their games, complete match administration and develop their careers.

The app was developed by referees, for referees, so it includes a range of advanced functionality specifically designed to help with the challenges of refereeing. These include:

Recording cautions, substitutions and dismissals
Keep track of timings
Track temporary dismissals (sin bins)

Our partnership will also give our Referee Development Officer more data to help progress referees and monitor performance. Trainee referees will be given the opportunity to log their first games through the app, making it even easier to certify and start refereeing.

The app is free to use, works on Apple, Android and Samsung watches and can be used on mobile and desktop.

The PRO version of the app offers more advanced features for referees wanting to develop and progress their careers to the next level. This includes heatmaps, performance data and career statistics.

Already a free user but want to go PRO? REFSIX are offering all referees registered with the Amateur FA 20% off an annual REFSIX PRO subscription using the discount code: AMATEURFA20.

Daryl Ann, Referee Development Officer at the Amateur FA said:

"It’s great that we have been able to form an official partnership with REFSIX that will see additional support to our Match Official. Our vision and goals for the future align with that of REFSIX, as we both look to embrace new technology as much as we can to help benefit and support referees. We have some exciting plans going forwards for refereeing in the Amateur FA and working together with Hassan and his team at REFSIX, we hope to be able to roll these out soon."

REFSIX will be supporting the Senior County Cup Final, where you can spot them on the live feed and in the programme. They will be capturing data from two officials on the day so be sure to keep an eye out for that in the near future.
