The NSPCC have been commissioned by The FA to undertake a review and assessment of County FAs, and their safeguarding policies and procedures.

On Tuesday 18th, the Amateur FA had their Safeguarding 365 assessment, with members of the Board and staff interviewed as part of the process. Prior to this, we had to upload evidence of the safeguarding work that is done.

We are pleased to announce that we have received confirmation that we meet the standards, and have passed the assessment for season 21/22. The NSPCC said they "acknowledge the work that has gone into collating the evidence to get to this point and congratulate you, the Board and wider staff team for the commitment to safeguarding evidenced during the assessment process."

Jason Kilby, Chief Executive and Senior Safeguarding Lead said, “I’m really pleased the Amateur FA has passed the NSPCC’s assessment at the first attempt. This was a true team effort which has ensured Safeguarding practice is embedded within the way we do things.”

Sue Ravenlaw, Head of Safeguarding at The FA said, "Congratulations...Good to see the work that’s been put in by you all being maintained."
