Welcome to the Women's World Cup sign up window for the 100FC Female Coaching Programme for season 23/24.
100FC is a joint initiative between Amateur FA, London FA and Middlesex FA, supported by England Football, and funded by Wembley Stadium National Trust.
The programme addresses the shortage of female coaches across the capital and support the rapidly increasing player participation numbers with a ready, willing, and able workforce who have been given the opportunity to flourish in a safe and developing coaching environment.
Committing to the fully-funded 100FC female coaching programme for one season includes:
- Attending an Introductory Orientation event
- FA Introduction to Coaching Football Course
- FA DBS, Safeguarding Children, First Aid
- Online & face-to-face CPD events
- FA Mentor support
- Networking opportunities
What the journey looks like is different for all women, but one thing is consistent, they are part of a movement to increase the number of active female coaches in grassroots football in London.
Steph Fairbairn, who was part of the first cohort of 100FC in 2019 said of the programme:
“Being part of the 100FC programme has not only given me a pathway into coaching, but access to a support network, ideas and resources. All of this has been integral to my development and progression as a coach.
Joining the 100FC programme was the first step on a journey for me. I am now an FA Community Champion and FA Equal Game Ambassador and want to support women in football the same way 100FC has done for me”.
