100FC coaching programme

Now Open: 100FC Coaching Programme

Applications are now open for season 24/25 for women and non-binary people looking to take their steps on the coaching ladder.

This year 100FC celebrates five years!

100FC is a joint initiative between Amateur FA, London FA and Middlesex FA, with backing from Wembley Stadium National Trust.

The programme started in season 19/20 after the success of the Lionesses at the Women’s World Cup in 2019 as player participation rapidly rose, and a workforce was needed to support the growing game.

100FC addresses the shortage of women and non-binary coaches across the capital and supports them to flourish in a safe and developing coaching environment.

To date, we have engaged 351 coaches and supported 150 grassroots clubs across London. This is alongside the London Female Coaching Network that supports 142 coaches in their coaching development journey.

Being part of 100FC for coaches includes:

- Funding for the Introduction to Coaching Football qualification
- FA DBS, Safeguarding & Emergency Aid qualifications
- Induction and end of season events
- Online & face-to-face CPD events
- FA mentor support
- Networking opportunities

Applications open on Monday 1st July 2024 and close on Sunday 1st September 2024.

Applicants who are accepted onto 100FC will need to attend an induction day, which will take place on Saturday 28th September in London. The venue is to be confirmed.

What the journey looks like is different for all, but one thing is consistent, they are part of a movement to increase the number of active female coaches in grassroots football in London.

Please note 100FC is currently a coaching programme for those that do not yet hold a formal coaching qualification and are interested in starting their coaching journey.
