New Vacancy: Referee Development Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Amateur Football Alliance, who are looking for a Referee Development Officer to join the team.
We are about to embark on a new strategy planned to 2028, within which, the growth and development of match officials is embedded. Alongside the Amateur Football Alliance Referee Strategy, we want to develop the experience and excellence of our registered match officials. This will be supported through driving the number of match officials who are recruited, converted, retained, developed and subsequently, progressing along the referee pathway. The Referee Development Officer will be responsible for the delivery of these objectives. They are also responsible for ensuring safeguarding procedures and protocols are in place to ensure match officials are in a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment.
The role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about enhancing the development of referees within the Amateur Football Alliance. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience within refereeing already and be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. Having the ability to manage and prioritise your workload, plan and achieve objectives by deadlines, as well as strong communication and customer service skills are also valued attributes.

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000
Contract: Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)
