REFEREE REGISTRATION WITH AMATEUR FA
Referees must re-register with their parent county annually in order to remain as qualified referees. The registration year runs from the 1 June to 31 May each year.
We send out registration reminders to all AFA registered referees in March or April each year to allow plenty of time to re-register. You can register online and amend your personal details as necessary when you do so. You will be registered as soon as you complete the online process.
There are further details of the online service below. Alternatively, you can go straight to the Whole Game System login page which gives access to online registration.
You can register online via the "Whole Game System" (‘WGS’). Through WGS you can update your personal details and manage your record as a referee. Among other things you can renew your referees registration, pay the registration fee and order AFA products such as badges, ties and copies of the Laws of the Game.
In order to register online for the new season you must have:
• Registered within the last two seasons
• Completed the necessary safeguarding children requirements
• Have a debit or credit card
You access WGS using your FAN number and password. For referee registration, once you have logged in, on the first page click on the 'Referee Administration' tab then select 'Start Referee Re-registration for 2018-19'. Accept the pop up message which appears about CRC checks and follow the instructions from there.
