Referee Awards Evening 2023
The Amateur FA annual Referee Cup Final and Awards Evening took place on Wednesday 1st February 2023.
The awards evening recognises those who have excelled in refereeing this season, with the County Cup Final FA match officials announced, and several other handed out throughout the night.
The officials that attended were then treated to a talk with FIFA and Premier League Select Group 1 Referee, Andy Madley who took his time talking about the preparation that match officials would need to go through ahead of their cup finals, and how to best prepare mentally for the games that they face.
Daryl Ann, Referee Development Officer said:
"It was great to be able to reward so many match officials with County Cup Finals, Long Service Awards and RefHub Awards. To see three individuals receive awards from our Referee Development Committee really did make the evening so special. It was great to see so many new faces at this event, and we strive to making next years event even bigger and better. I would like to finish off by congratulating everyone for their Cup Final Appointments and Awards”
